Eurasia Shipyard Successfully Completes Construction of Offshore Support Vessel for National Maritime Project

Demonstrating its commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s maritime sector, Eurasia Shipyard & Marine Services has completed the construction of a state-of-the-art Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) designed to support offshore drilling and logistics operations. Built with modern navigation systems, international-standard safety features, and enhanced fuel efficiency, the vessel stands as one of the most competitive OSVs in its class. This achievement further reinforces Eurasia's capability in delivering high-quality vessels for the country’s offshore and maritime industries.

Batam, November 20, 2025 – Eurasia Shipyard & Marine Services has achieved another milestone with the completion of an Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) set to support offshore operations in Eastern Indonesia. The vessel is specifically designed to handle logistics transport, equipment delivery, and offshore drilling support in deep-water environments.

Built using an advanced hull design that enhances stability in extreme weather conditions, the OSV is also equipped with cutting-edge navigation equipment, an automatic fire suppression system, improved crew accommodations, and an eco-friendly fuel-efficient engine.

Eurasia’s Technical Director, Irwan Prasetyo, highlighted that the project reflects the company’s dedication to maintaining quality and timely delivery.

“We are proud to complete this project according to schedule and in line with the client’s expectations. This OSV is a testament to the hard work and innovation of our engineering team,” he said.

The OSV project involved over 250 skilled workers, including designers, engineers, and field technicians. Throughout the construction process, Eurasia emphasized stringent safety standards and rigorous testing to ensure the vessel can operate reliably in challenging offshore environments.

The vessel is scheduled for a sea trial in early December 2025 and will be officially handed over to the client in January 2026.

This completion strengthens Eurasia’s position as a leading national shipyard capable of meeting the growing demands of Indonesia’s offshore industry.
