Jakarta, November 17, 2025 – Eurasia Shipyard & Marine Services, one of Indonesia’s leading shipyard companies, has officially opened its newest docking facility designed to accommodate a wide range of large vessels.
Equipped with advanced technology, expanded work areas, and high-precision machinery, the facility is built to improve both the speed and quality of ship maintenance.
The new docking facility enables Eurasia to handle more projects simultaneously, increasing its overall maintenance capacity by over 30% compared to previous years.
With this upgrade, the company is better positioned to meet the rising demand from both commercial and government sectors.
Eurasia’s CEO, Budi Hartanto, stated that the development of this facility is part of the company’s long-term strategy to support Indonesia’s maritime independence.
“We believe Indonesia’s shipyard industry holds significant potential for growth. With this new facility, the docking, maintenance, and construction processes can be completed more efficiently, safely, and in accordance with international quality standards,” he said.
In addition to boosting capacity, the facility is also prepared to support new shipbuilding projects, including Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) and Heavy Lift Carriers.
These projects are scheduled to begin in early 2026. Local government officials expressed appreciation for the facility’s positive impact on regional economic development and job creation.
More than 300 local skilled workers have been recruited to support construction and operations, with the number expected to grow as new projects are initiated. With the launch of this modern docking facility, Eurasia Shipyard & Marine Services solidifies its position as a key player in Indonesia’s shipbuilding industry and a trusted partner for various maritime sectors across the nation.
